After School Co-Curricular - Art, grades 4-8

Calling all artists and crafters!!! Do you ever watch art or craft tutorials online and think, "Hey, I want to try that!" If so, come join Mrs. Bond‘s Creative Corner. We will have ten classes to complete a variety of student chosen, hands-on arts & crafts projects! On our very first day, we will have a color mixing challenge with prizes! Students will then vote on the top five big projects we'll complete during our course (some ideas include: paper mache creations, macrame wall art, cloth dyeing, DIY candle making, sewing/embroidery, weaving or beading looms, garden stepping stones, brick book cover painting, recycled materials statues, resin projects, DIY garden planters, dress up as Bob Ross painting day, or bring your own ideas to pitch to the class). We've learned that really cool big projects can sometimes take two class periods to complete, but we'll have several really fun early finisher creative projects available for students to take home or work on after each big project is finished.
Included in the overall class cost is a $20 supply fee that will go towards art materials and some small after school snacks. If your child has any dietary restrictions, please email the instructor prior to the first class.
