After School Co-Curricular - Chess, grades K-8
Instructor: Kevin Golchin

Players of all levels are welcome. Our after-school chess program offers fun and exciting chess activities such as free play with friends, cool chess apps on tablets, and interactive lessons in our books that teach game strategies. Coach Kevin Golchin has been teaching chess for 7 years and has been playing competitively for longer than that. He is officially ranked among the top 5% of all rated chess players in the United States (and in the top .1% of all players rated and unrated). In that time he has taught a large number of students who have all started as beginners and made their way into the top 100 of nationally rated kids in their age group. He looks forward to welcoming you into the amazing world of chess!

Hours for K-2nd are 2:30-3:30pm.

Hours for 3-8th are 3:00-4:00pm.

No Class on April 3.
