After School Co-Curricular - Art, grades 3-8

Pastels! Be sure to join this class if you're interested in learning new and advanced techniques with pastel. Designed for 4th-8th grade students, this class will focus on drawing and color theory skills applied to a select variety of pastel projects. We will work with toned paper, soft and hard pastel, discover painting with soft pastels, and learn more about the use of oil pastels. Art will be featured in our Spring Open House Art Show in May. This class provides the space and time for students who are not enrolled in art, as well as those who are, to refine and grow their skills. Instructed by Mrs. Stimson.
Note: Students should come with snacks to eat before enrichment begins.
